STEPS:
The very first information you need to verify before doing anything is what is the device, who is the original carrier and why was it labeled lost or stolen (blacklisted).
If all you have is an IMEI number. Go to the Following T-Mobile device IMEI Check website to see what device it is (iPhone, Android or tablet)
You need to pull as much info as possible on the device to see why it was blacklisted. The more info the better. We need to know what blacklist repair service to submit the device IMEI to so it does not get rejected.
If iPhone, go to Direct Codes - Place Order - Device Services
Then Search for and Find "Apple iPhone Check'
Submit the Device IMEI & You will get the info that looks like this below:
Find the original carrier and see if it says blacklisted, The image above says it is blacklisted and it says the original carrier is T-Mobile
Now, you need to run a T-Mobile Lost/Stolen Check to see why it was blacklisted. You need to see why it was blacklisted because there are specific services you need to submit the IMEI to. Some services are for T-Mobile devices reported stolen by insurance. Some services are only for T-Mobile devices reported stolen by customer. If you submit the device IMEI to the wrong service the device will get rejected in the unlock server. Such as submitting a device IMEI that was reported lost by a customer to a service that is meant for blacklisted devices that were reported stolen by insurance.
Find the T-Mobile Lost/Stolen Unpaid Check by going to "Place Order" section and then select "Device Services" (Same procedure for verizon or any other carrier when original carrier is found in original iPhone Check Service Result - If originally Verizon, find the Verizon Specific Lost/Stolen Check to find the reason it was blacklisted)
Submit the device IMEI and wait a few minutes for the results
Get the results
Above Device is originally a T-Mobile device that was blacklisted because it was reported stolen by insurance.
Now, you need to go through the list of unlock servers and find the service that matches "unbarring" for Reported Stolen by Insurance service. The list of unlock servers that we have the best success with are listed below:
For T-mobile devices: - GSM Unlock USA - Direct Codes:
- Reported lost by a T-Mobile customer
- Reported stolen by a T-Mobile customer
For T-Mobile Devices Reported Stolen by Insurance: Phone Style Server
All the Unlock Servers have different services for Blacklist Repair. Please Check sign in and check each one for their available services. Services change depending on availability so you need to check every server.
This is why it is imperative you find the most specific information on each and every device you service because if you submit a device for repair and it does not match the server specifics the device will get rejected and you will have to resubmit all over again.
This information is listed on both of our Unlock websites.
Save this website and our sister site, The Lock Shop - It will provide you valuable information on phone unlocking and step by step instructions. We will continue to fill out instructions for each and every service available. It will take some time to fill out a couple hundred different services. Check back every couple of days if you do not see the service explanation you are looking for.
